For over 20 years the World Cheese Awards has been bringing together buyers and sellers from the dairy industry worldwide.   It's the largest cheese competition in the world and takes an entire day to judge, making this a place to do real business too.

Hosted at the BBC Good Food Show (UK's largest consumer food exhibition) on 24th November 2010, 201 judges from 19 different countries judged 2,629 cheeses from 29 countries during the morning session. These were whittled down to 47 super gold award winning cheeses by the afternoon session. Cornish Blue, from the Cornish Cheese Company, was finally crowned the World Champion Cheese 2010.

It is the biggest and most cosmopolitan cheese festival ever staged in the UK, with almost 100,000 consumers tasting cheese (until the 28th November), after the international panel of experts has completed their judging.
