Kick of meeting 21st January 2010
The kick of meeting of the European Research Project for the benefit of SMEs, called TECHeese, was celebrated on the Institute of Regional Development from the University of Castilla-La Mancha in Albacete (Spain) on 21st January of 2010. To the meeting attended at least one member for each of the 12 organizations involved in the project.
Mr. Juan José Gomez, Secretary of the Institute, gave the welcome to the attendance and wished a fruitful working day. After that, Ms. Mª Isabel Berruga Fernández, coordinator of the project, presented a Project overview and the activities planned for the next 6 months. Mr. Manuel Carmona Delgado talked about the Program rules and the administrative requirements.
During the meeting partners relationships were strengthened, the coordination and communication procedures were established, and next deadlines for the coming activities were fixed.
After the Technical Meeting, the Dehesa de los Llanos Partner invited to the other members of the Consortium to move to its facilities to celebrate a press conference and a working lunch later.
Finally, the attendance visited the milk production and cheese elaboration infrastructures within the estate and they were treated to wine, cheese and olive oil produced in the region.
