Project Objectives:
Two types of measures will be implemented to reduce the losses causes by undesirable microorganisms:
- The preventive actions will be focused on the development of feed formulations containing aromatic plants with antiseptic properties to be able to control specific microbial populations and to enhance sheep health and milk productivity.
- Control actions will consist on the development of an inspection system based on low energy X-ray equipment to detect internal product defects.
